Imperial First Harvest Matcha

This is my 3rd repurchase, I have tried many other matcha powders but nothing comes close to heapwell’s imperial.

I've been buying this matcha regularly for over a year now because it is simply the best. More recently though, their customer service has won my heart 10 times over. Ninad and his team saw a comment that wasn't even really a complaint and reached out to offer an unexpected, and wholly appreciated, solution. Really the only place that puts their product and customers on the same level. Team Heapwell, I hope you never change!

My favourite matcha! I'm quite picky when it comes to matcha but this one tasts great and at a decent price point. Have been repurchasing this so many times and putting all my friends on too.

Sweet & smooth in taste and colour with good solubility. It's definately better than the normal ceremonial grades.

As a matcha devotee, even with so many matcha brands cropping up like mushrooms everyday, I no longer feel the need to try out different options because I've found my HG right here in the Imperial matcha. It's a gorgeously fragrant, smooth matcha that holds its taste so well in lattes.

I do want to point out that out of the dozen or so times I've ordered so far, there have been a couple of instances where the characteristics had noticeably fluctuated. The current pack I'm about to finish is a bit low on the signature sweet aroma that I've come to associate with Heapwell, although the taste is as usual. At an earlier instance, even the taste was different, i.e., not as potent and barely discernible in my regular lattes.

I know slight variations are to be expected in natural/ farmed products, but I do hope that the luxurious, well-rounded version I've come to expect makes its way back to me with my next order.

The colour is very green, a sign of good quality, and the taste is very good: sweet, slightly vegetable, without excessive bitterness. It blends well and makes for a pleasant drink to drink on a daily basis.

This matcha is really good. Very bright green colour and no bitterness. I drink classic matcha without milk. It works best as compared to any other matchas.

If you are a mathca fan, you'll love this. This pack is excellent value for money. It is a pretty bright green. It has a smooth matcha flavor and is not bitter.

Just opened my new pack and was immediately enveloped in the familiar, vibrant fragrance. The brew is just as perfect as every time with a sweet aroma and fresh aftertaste. This matcha has firmly established itself as one I can blindly trust.

I just opened my 2nd pack today and am happy to report that the quality is just as immaculate as the previous order - a clean, bright green powder with a slightly sticky consistency which smells simply delightful right out of the pack. Matcha and other natural products can definitely vary in their taste and aroma based on the harvest, but seeing as I have zero complaints so far, I will continue supporting this brand.

This is the best matcha I have tried in India so far by a big margin. Definately buying it again.

I am one happy customer for various reasons.

1. The quality is unbeatable at this price range, especially for the 100gms pack. This matcha is silky smooth and simply glorious to taste compared to all the other "premium" matchas I've been trying so far. I usually like my matcha with iced almond milk, but I've been happily sipping this one on its own because it is so good. I get a burst of the sweet "tea" aroma every time I open the pack which just lights up my mood instantly. The tea also blends like a dream and froths up so well even with just a fork. Just delightful, all around.
2. I like their approach of taking on limited quantities to deliver the freshest matcha to buyers. The quality is immediately evident, as explained in point #1.
3. I am very new to Heapwell, but their customer service already seems to be top-notch. I reached out on one of their social media videos with some queries and received a clear response within minutes which helped me place the right order.

So far they seem to be doing everything right (and better than everyone else I've tried) so I am more than happy to continue supporting them.
