Our Story
Back in 2016, when matcha wasn’t a thing in India (seriously, no one even knew what it was), we fell in love with this vibrant green tea from Japan. But here’s the problem, what little “matcha” was available was dull, bitter, and nowhere close to the real deal. We knew we had to change that.
That’s how Heapwell was born. We started this journey before it was “cool,” and we’d love for you to be part of it now.

How We Do It
Matcha is delicate and has a short lifespan. Good matcha should be bright green with a fresh, grassy aroma. But it starts losing its magic when exposed to air, light, or heat.
That’s why, as a small company, we order our matcha in small, carefully timed batches. The tencha (the leaves before they’re ground into matcha) is processed and stone-ground only after we place an order. This means the matcha you receive is as fresh, vibrant, and aromatic as it can possibly be always.
We care about what’s in your cup. Every batch is lab-tested and packed to lock in freshness. It’s the same quality we’d serve to our own family (because honestly, we drink a lot of matcha too!).
