TRADITIONAL MATCHA RECIPE:
- Add 1/2 tsp matcha powder to a bowl.
- Pour in the 80-100ml hot water and whisk vigorously.

SUMMER MATCHA ICED LATTE:
- In a bowl, whisk the matcha powder with the hot water until smooth and frothy.
- Fill a glass with ice cubes.
- Pour the milk over the ice.

How many servings of matcha can I get from one pack?
What grades of matcha do you offer, and what’s the difference?
We offer three grades of Japanese matcha at Heapwell: Premium Grade, Ceremonial Grade, and Imperial Grade. Each grade corresponds to a different level of quality, flavor profile, and ideal use.
Premium Grade Matcha: This is a high-quality everyday matcha
Ceremonial Grade Matcha: Ceremonial grade is a step up in quality, made from the first harvest of tea leaves.
Imperial Grade Matcha: Imperial is our top-tier matcha (AAA ceremonial grade). It’s made from the very youngest first-harvest leaves from Uji in Kyoto.
Where is your matcha sourced from?
Our matcha is grown and harvested in Japan, the birthplace of matcha.
Our Imperial grade comes from Uji in Kyoto Prefecture, which is famous for producing some of Japan’s finest matcha. Our Ceremonial grade is sourced from tea gardens in Kyoto and Kagoshima (southern Japan), and our Premium grade is a special blend from tea farms in Shizuoka, Japan
Is your matcha pure? Are there any additives in it?
Our matcha is 100% pure green tea powder, with nothing else added. We do not include any sweeteners, colors, preservatives, or fillers – just the ground Japanese tea leaves. Matcha by nature is gluten-free and vegan, and since we add no other ingredients, it’s suitable for anyone avoiding gluten, dairy, or animal products.
When you buy Heapwell matcha, you’re getting a pure and natural product. If you have any specific allergy concerns, you can contact us for more details, but generally it’s just pure matcha green tea inside our tins.
Is your matcha tested for safety (pesticides, heavy metals, etc.)?
Yes – quality and safety are top priorities for us. Our matcha undergoes laboratory testing to ensure it’s free from any harmful residues. We’re proud to share that test results show no detectable pesticides in our matcha, and it’s also clear of heavy metals like lead. Additionally, our products are tested for radiation (an important consideration for tea from Japan), and no radioactivity has been detected.
In summary, our matcha is clean and safe. We use tea leaves grown using traditional methods, and the lab tests confirm that the final product is pure. How much does shipping cost & How long does it take to delivery?
Within India: We offer free standard shipping on all orders within India
For orders within India: Our standard shipping typically takes about 3–7 business days for delivery anywhere in India.
International: For orders outside India, the shipping cost will depend on the destination and the weight of your order. During checkout, after you enter your address, the system will automatically calculate the shipping charge based on your location and the order size.
What if my order arrives damaged, or I’m not happy with the product?
If you encounter any problems with your order, please contact us right away! We are here to help. Here’s how we handle such cases:

Damaged or Defective Items: In the rare event that your matcha tin or any product arrives damaged or is defective, we will make it right. Please email us at info@heapwell.in with your order details and a photo of the issue if possible. We will offer a replacement or exchange for the damaged item. In some cases, we may issue a refund if a replacement isn’t feasible. We’ll work with you quickly to resolve the issue – your satisfaction is important to us.

Dissatisfied with the Taste/Quality: We genuinely hope you love our matcha, but if for some reason you’re not satisfied, let us know. Since food products cannot be returned once opened (for safety reasons), we can’t process a traditional return in this case. However, we still want you to have a good experience. We might recommend trying a different grade of matcha that could better suit your palate, or in certain cases we may provide a one-time courtesy solution to ensure you’re happy.
